I really loved the picturesque waterfront location. My room had a nice view overlooking the river. The breakfast buffet offered a very good selection. I found the 10-15 minute walk to both the city center and railway station quite reasonable.
I found a limited selection of drinks. I don't drink tea or coffee, and hot chocolate would have been nice.

The staff seemed busy but charming, and they worked really well as a team. David gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and was friendly with the children. He gave them a little quiz. It kept them busy for a while.

i found a hotel staff was helpful. a big room came with a very comfortable bed. everything was really clean. buffet breakfast included a lot of choice. i also used the multi-storey car park next door, a hotel discount made it £8 for 24 hours.

Mixed experience DUE to disruptions

the breakfast was standard , BUT it included a hot coffee option.
i was NOT informed about a convention taking place directly outside the hotel. my room , which i had booked with the expectation of a river view , instead faced large white tents. contractors worked through the night , and i was awakened at 7am by loud banging and beeping from forklift trucks. it PROVED difficult to secure a taxi , a particular issue given my disability , as the hotel entrance was sealed off.

the location proved very convenient, i appreciated its proximity to leeds dock. tesco express near the hotel provided easy access to essentials. royal armouries location near the hotel was a bonus and the river taxi was great. the riverside footpaths made the city centre accessible.
the air conditioner remained stuck at 22 degrees, it was quite inconvenient. opening the window introduced noise from the a/c fans outside.
